SATISFACTION-GUARANTEED-NOT, originally uploaded by ponChiang.
I bought a wii video gaming console believing Wal-Mart would provide what they called “SATISFACTION GUARANTEED” and “90-days return policy”. And I also carefully looked at their”exception” board in the store and online. I have found nothing about “all electronics” nor the “video gaming system”. And only one month after, I found my wii isn’t functioning right for me. Immidiately, I went to Wal-Mart for return. I can’t get it returned. They kept saying it is there listed under exception while I was standing there like a jerk who cannot read. I called for store manager and someone on the phone said “We cannot list all the exceptions”. Where is what they promised “SATISFACTION GUARANTEED” and “90-days return policy”? Please take a look of the photos below and another article of mine for detail: (It is very upseting for me……Hope you are not having some issue with mine.)

“Your complete shopping satisfaction is our number one priority.” LMAO
Wal-Mart 90 Days return policy and Wal-Mart customer satisfaction are fooling customers like me. Only 20 days ago, I bought a defected item (wii) from Wal-Mart and just found the wii wireless doesn’t work.
8:35 PM 6/25/2007 I went to the Wal-Mart store in Stratford, CT and waited like 25 minutes only because someone was doing the money wire transfer. They said the return policy for electronics is 15 days. I argued with Joy Osm, who called herself the manager saying there is nothing like that said in any Wal-Mart stores or Wal-Mart online. I was asking the other customers where they saw the return policy for electronics is 15 days. None. I can’t remember the whole thing, but it was almost like this one from the webpage:
- Computer hardware: Must be returned with any included software within 15 days of receipt.
- Computer components and computer accessories: Must be returned within 45 days of receipt.
- Computer software: Must be returned unopened.
- Camcorders and digital cameras: Must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
- GPS Units, Digital Music Players, and Portable Video Players: May be returned for refund or exchange with receipt WITHIN 15 DAYS.
There is nothing about video game system or all electronics must be returned within 15 days. Then Joy just tried to ignore me by helping other customers.
Right after, I tried to contact Store Manager Brian by calling his number showing in his store (203) 734-8523 and unable to contact him. There was no answer machine. Then I tried to call another store manager, Tim at (203)502-7631. Someone talked to me and lied about the 15 days return policy showing at the bottom of the receipt. I have the receipt and it is not there and it’s empty at the back of the receipt. Are Wal-Mart people just making up their own rules? He also said the same with Joy but added “they can’t include all the exceptions”. Hey, Mal-Mart is a big company, how can you make a return policy which Mal-Mart is not following. They said all items could be returned within 90 days with exception, and the item I bought isn’t in the exception.
Can you please look at it on this webpage?

(I also have a screen shot at the end of this article in case they changed it)
Where did it say all electronics are 15 days? Where did it say video game systems? Is video game system falling into the following categories: GPS Units? Digital Music Players? Portable Video Players? Computer?
No, it is not. And the item that Wal-Mart sold me is defective…Where the customer satisfaction is.

Someone contacted me via my website. He bought 2 bottles of Hint water (Pomegranate-Tangerine). His wife luckily found out there are something like jellyfishes in the bottle. They are very hard to be seen. They look clear and one of them is small. But the other mess is big. Good thing that they didn’t drink it. They contacted the company and what the person who claimed he is the owner of the company said the following:
“What you show in the picture appears to be mold, which looks disgusting, but would not make people sick (mold is very visible in a clear beverage and this is of course unacceptable, but we typically do consume quite a bit of mold in food and beverages). “
What the person offered my friend is a case of the new product and saying they are modifying their production to have it in the new bottle. But it seems like he is still selling the old bottles.

My friend asked me if there is a way to alarm people. I think here with flickr might be a good place to show people. Make sure you really check it before you buy the “healthy water”

Quote from Verison: “Remember, with the Worry Free Guarantee, you have the option to change to any qualifying calling plan or airtime promotion at any time” (promotional offers will require an extension of your Customer Agreement)

Of course, my bills went sky high for many months until I could go to T-mobile with must better phone (Free Razor v3) one year ago, much cheaper plan with more minutes and 50 dollars rebate. The best part is it is only 1 year agreement.
I tried to file dispute over BBB.ORG (Better Business Bureau), but they don’t seem to be able to disencourage VerizonWireless to take advantage of their customers like this. This is a lose-lose (vs win win) situation for the customers?
You might think why I don’t get another phone with other carrier when I am stuck with the minutes from Verizon Wireless. It was because that my life was uncertain and I might have to leave the country. I can’t sign up for other contracts. I explained that to Verizon Wireless representative and they can’t or don’t want to help me.

When I signed up, they said I could change my plan with different minutes at anytime. After the first contract was completed, they told me that I have sign new contracts everytime I change my plan without being offered any promotion. So you have to stick to your old junk cell phone with them which is out of date and suck it with them everytime your (or mine) unplanned critical event happens.
I used to be loyal to Verizon Wireless and was a good customer, I even pay International long distance calls with them and they made a good money from me. Because they were unwilling to kind to their loyal customer and did not keep their promise, which they told me before I signed up, I ended up paying like 40 cents more a minutes for like more than 100 minutes each month. And we all know about that the Verizon Wireless charges much more than the other Wireless carriers. But because their unfair way to make us sign contract with them, I know it was time for me to move on. There are a lot of good wireless companies out there. Why them? So I went to Flushing, NY and got a Motorola Razor Phone (v2) happiliy with T-mobile with Free case and car charger without paying anything plus getting $100 back in mail and only with one year contract. Best of all, I got 300 more minutes a month for the same rate I paid to Verizon.
Now, who is the sucker?
